New Yorker - Around a year ago, Facebook previewed what it called a âfresh, new look for News Feed,â the cascading column of photos, status updates, links, and ads that greets users when they log in. The re-imagined News Feed featured a luxurious amount of white space and a minimal amount of clutter, allowing expansive images, videos, and stories to breathe. It also broke the monolithic feed into several streams divided by contentâone for photos, one for music, one for friends, and so on.
